Koeman interested in signing Giroud Everton manager Ronald Koeman is set to bid £40 million for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in the coming January transfer window, according to the Mirror. The Merseyside club tried to sign the Frenchman this summer but failed to complete the deal. Giroud is reportedly interested in the move due to lack of game time with new signing Alexandre Lacazette and Danny Welbeck currently ahead in the pecking order. The competition for places is pretty high in the national team as well and the 30-year old will need to play more regularly to be selected in the World Cup squad next year.
