'Keep faith!' - Ex-Everton man finds some optimism

There is not much positivity surrounding Everton at the moment given that the team are struggling in the Premier League and in Europe. Only two wins in eight top-flight matches have been recorded by the Merseyside outfit and they face a struggle to make it into the knockout rounds of the Europa League on the back of two defeats and a draw. On Thursday night the misery continued when the team were beaten 2-1 by Lyon at Goodison Park. The result was marred by a melee that broke out between players and then spilled into the crowd, with one man caught on camera allegedly throwing a punch at Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes while holding a small child.
