Giroud admits he left Arsenal because of Aubameyang

Olivier Giroud has explained that he left Arsenal so as to avoid becoming 'a second reserve' with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's arrival. Giroud joined Chelsea on transfer deadline day in January, and scored his first goal for the club in the FA Cup win over Hull last week. The striker is set to play a key role for the Premier League champions, with Alvaro Morata struggling with an injury. Arsenal have just added Aubameyang to their forward ranks, and so opportunities in north London were likely to be limited. 'It was frustrating at Arsenal obviously.
