Gordon Strachan tips Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers for Arsenal job

Former Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has named the Hoops' current boss Brendan Rodgers as the ideal candidate to replace Arsene Wenger at Arsenal. The Gunners announced last week that the Frenchman will leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season, bringing his 22-year reign to an end. Speaking to talkSPORT, Strachan said that Rodgers's experience at Celtic and Liverpool makes him a good fit for the Arsenal job. "A bonus you get as Celtic manager is you play in the Champions League and you have to deal with the top, top teams - so there's preparation there," he said.
