Report: Arsene Wenger to hijack Arsenal move for Aleksandr Golovin

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has expressed an interest in signing Aleksandr Golovin upon his return to club management, according to agent Sandor Varga. The 22-year-old, who plays for CSKA Moscow and the Russia national team, was linked with a move to Arsenal last summer but a move failed to materialise. Golovin, currently on international duty at the World Cup, was also singled out for praise by Wenger after CSKA played the Gunners in the Europa League.
