Carl Jenkinson, Joel Campbell 'absent from Arsenal squad for pre-season tour'
Unai Emery has reportedly informed Carl Jenkinson and Joel Campbell that they will not take part in Arsenal's pre-season trip to Singapore. The duo are the highest profile of the Gunners' five absentees, according to the London Evening Standard, as fellow fringe players Chuba Akpom, Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Krystian Bielik have also been omitted. Arsenal are taking a 25-man squad to the Far East for their International Champions Cup friendlies against Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, but the aforementioned quintet have failed to make the cut.
