World Cup Watch: Little and Beattie score in draw

We had three Gunners in World Cup action on Wednesday night. Read on to find out how they fared. Kim Little, Jennifer Beattie and Lisa Evans’ World Cup dreams came to a disappointing end on Wednesday night, as they conceded a stoppage-time equaliser to draw 3-3 with Argentina. Shelley Kerr’s side found themselves three goals to the good heading into the final 15 minutes, thanks to goals from Little, Beattie and Erin Cuthbert - but once Milagros Melendez pulled one back for Argentina in the 74th minute, the tide turned and Scotland found themselves under great pressure. An unfortunate own goal from Lee Alexander reduced the deficit to just one goal, before Florencia Bonsegundo converted...
