Ready to raid Lyon? Why does Arsene ‘make do'?

Morning all. When Danny Welbeck is fit, it's easy. Same when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is fit but when both of those players are missing, why does Arsene Wenger simply make do? Since neither have been available, we've seen Aaron Ramsey play out on the right and then on Wednesday, Jack Wilshere was thrown out there. Why?
