Mark McGuinness hailed the character shown by our under-23s after going down to 10 men against Brighton on Friday night.  In a closely contested match, Robbie Burton was sent off early in the second half, before Peter Gwargis netted the only goal of the game from 25 yards. Despite the defeat, McGuinness was proud of the way the team responded and this is what he told us after the match:  on the performance… Obviously it was a disappointing result, but I think we played well as a team. To get 90 minutes under my belt was great. It was disappointing to lose Robbie but as we went to 10 men I thought we did really well.
