WHAT HAPPENED Lia Walti scored her first goal in Arsenal colours as we reached the fifth round of the SSE Women’s FA Cup with a commanding 2-0 win over West Ham. The first chance of the afternoon fell to Beth Mead, who timed her run well to meet Katie McCabe’s cross at the back post, but her first-time effort from close range flew wide. Vivianne Miedema almost broke the deadlock when she spun her marker and produced a speculative chip from inside the box that looped inches over the bar.
