Adam Lallana transfer battle hots up as Burnley join race for Liverpool star

Burnley have reportedly joined Leicester, Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham in the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana. The England international is out of contract at the end of the season and seems certain to leave Anfield in search of regular first-team football. Lallana has struggled for game time in Jurgen Klopp ’s all-conquering Reds first-team this season after having to compete with Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and Gini Wijnaldum. Leicester are at the head of the queue to sign the midfielder with boss Brendan Rodgers keen to reunite with the player he signed for Liverpool six years ago.
