Premier League's first two fixtures back as clubs agree June 17 restart date

Manchester City will take on Arsenal in a mouthwatering clash when the Premier League season resumes next month. The Premier League has confirmed the campaign will resume on June 17 when Mikel Arteta will return to his former stomping ground. Aston Villa will also kickstart their bid to escape the drop by welcoming Sheffield United to Villa Park on Wednesday 17. These matches have been selected with all four teams having a game hand, and although the clubs are still discussing the date they have agreed to the proposal in principle.
