Mikel Arteta promotes Arsenal wonderkids to first-team training upon return
Arsenal youngsters Matt Smith and Trae Coyle took part in first team training on Tuesday, with manager Mikel Arteta continuing to promote from within his academy. The likes of Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock have become key members of the Gunners' side, while fellow academy starlets Folarin Balogun, Zech Medley, Tyreece John-Jules, James Olayinka and Robbie Burton have all made the first team squad at times this season. Arteta likes getting the youngsters involved with the first team and it was Smith and Coyle who joined in ahead of the resumption of the Premier League season amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
