Wilfried Zaha makes transfer admission as he opens up on Arsenal interest

Wilfried Zaha has revealed that it felt amazing when Arsenal tried to sign him from Crystal Palace last summer. The tricky winger had an outstanding season last term, scoring 10 goals and twice winning penalties against the Emirates outfit. The Eagles' asking price meant Arsenal eventually changed tack and signing Nicolas Pepe instead, leaving Zaha wondering what might have been. But even though the Gunners' offer was rejected by Palace, the 27-year-old admitted he was flattered when the club he has supported since he was a youngster tried to sign him.
