Mikel Arteta has warned the Arsenal board that he will be in need of major summer investment. It comes during one of the worse seasons for the Gunners, which has seen plunge into mid-table. There are signs of improvement under Arteta, but the Spaniard is in need of reinforcements. Players such as Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi have uncertain futures due to their attitude. And it appears to be Arteta’s way or the highway - but he needs backing from his boardroom bosses.
