I’ve posted the above link from Twitter because it proves just how inconsistent the officiating is in the Premier League and how VAR is only as good as the person behind it at the time. Burnley’s James Tarkowski was shown a yellow card and VAR saw no reason to to upgrade it. If they even bothered to review it of course. West Ham lost the game 1-0, a result which might have been different had they faced ten men for the remaining 30 odd minutes.
