Thierry Henry takes knee for eight minutes 46 seconds for Black Lives Matter

Thierry Henry took the knee for eight minutes and 46 seconds at the start of Montreal Impact's MLS game with New England Revolution in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The Arsenal legend, now manager of Montreal, also wore a 'Black Lives Matter' t-shirt for the game in memory of George Floyd. The movement has picked up massive traction around the world over the last few weeks after Mr Floyd was unlawfully killed in Minneapolis. Footage shows a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, kneeling on his neck while he was pinned to the floor, before he lost his life soon after. The action was timed at eight minutes and 46 seconds, the same time that Henry took the knee for on Thursday...
