Arsenal may try to re-sign Josh Dasilva from Brentford and hand him new role

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring several players from the Championship as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad - and a former Gunner could be on the shortlist. Josh Dasilva has been instrumental in helping Brentford reach the Championship play-off final tomorrow against Fulham. Now classed as a box-to-box midfielder, the 21-year-old started on the books at the Emirates before being sold to the Bees in 2018. Although he spent time as a left-winger and a forward in his youth, Dasilva now operates in the engine room of midfield, and Arteta could do with a player of his type.
