Ainsley Maitland-Niles told he can leave Arsenal despite Mikel Arteta's opinion
Arsenal have informed Ainsley Maitland-Niles that he will be made available for transfer this summer in order to raise funds to strengthen other areas of Mikel Arteta's squad. Maitland-Niles has impressed in various roles, including full-back on both sides, defensive midfielder and more attacking positions but never been able to hold down a place. His displays against Manchester City and Chelsea in the Gunners' victorious FA Cup campaign convinced some that he had a future at the club.
