Arsenal 'approached' by Ligue 1 side over late Matteo Guendouzi loan deal

Arsenal have reportedly been approached by Ligue 1 side Marseille over a potential loan deal for outcast Matteo Guendouzi. French midfielder Guendouzi hasn’t played since being being involved in a post-match altercation at Brighton last season following Arsenal's defeat on the south coast. The club dropped him over issues with his “attitude and general conduct”, and the 21-year-old was expected to leave north London this summer. Arsenal appear to have failed with their attempts to find a new suitor for the France youth international so far.
