Arsenal teen 'offered five-year deal' amid hopes of copying Bukayo Saka rise

Arsenal youngster Marcelo Flores is on the verge of signing a five-year professional contract at the Emirates, according to his father Ruben. Reports coming out of Mexico suggest Flores, 17, was recently invited to train with the Gunners’ first team. It was the first time he has been called up to the senior squad since joining their academy from Ipswich last summer, having attracted attention from a number of clubs in England. And the attacking midfielder’s father has revealed he is set to pen a professional deal at Arsenal after turning 17 on October.
