How Arsenal sold out tickets in 20 minutes as fans snapped up seats for comeback

Arsenal fans will be welcomed back into the Emirates Stadium on Thursday after all 2,000 tickets available for their match with Rapid Vienna were sold in 20 minutes. Following the decision by Prime Minister Boris Johnson to ease lockdown restrictions for December, fans will be allowed into grounds if their area is in tier 2. London is among the cities in the second tier and Arsenal are the first club to welcome back supporters into the ground. On Saturday morning Arsenal's sold the tickets available to them to their Gold and Premium Members on “first-come, first served” basis at 9am and within 20 minutes all the tickets were gone.
