Mikel Arteta admits David Luiz was ‘uncomfortable’ as he kept injured star on

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted David Luiz was “really uncomfortable” following his collision with Raul Jimenez. The two clashed heads in a sickening blow early on as Wolves beat the Gunners with the Mexican rushed to hospital. A bloodied Luiz played on though was eventually substituted at half time, with many thinking he should have been brought off earlier. And Arteta, who insisted protocols were met, has revealed that Luiz played on despite being in discomfort. Arteta: “David is OK. He has a nasty cut and he was conscious.
