Mesut Ozil’s “dream' transfer to Fenerbahce is quickly turning into a nightmare in Turkey. The former German international had his wish grated when Arsenal terminated his contract in January, allowing him to leave the club for nothing. Despite being the top earner at the club, Ozil had been frozen out under Mikel Arteta for almost a full calendar year. And the 32-year-old was set to reignite his career in Turkey, where he said he would 'wear the shirt with pride”.
