Sven Mislintat has confirmed he is in talks with Arsenal over extending Konstantino Mavropanos’ loan deal with Stuttgart. Mislintat spent 12 months at the Emirates, employed as the club’s head of recruitment. During his time at the Gunners, he signed eight players, with only two of those still at the club, despite his tenure ending only two years ago. The ex-Borussia Dortmund scout joined the Gunners in November 2017 after being approached by Arsene Wenger, but departed in January 2019 after falling out with the club’s hierarchy.
