Arsenal boost as target is ‘certainly' set to leave this summer

Arsenal have been handed a boost in our reported attempts to capture Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, with the Argentine certain to leave the Italian club this summer, the Mirror reports. The report suggests that Napoli's failure to qualify for the Champions League yet again is the reason behind Higuain's desire to seek pastures new, and his club would like to sell him abroad. As heavily reported two summers ago, Higuain seemed close to a move to us, but a deal somehow never materialised (via The Guardian).
