Arsenal’s Nabil Fekir offer rejected for being ‘far’ below asking price

Arsenal have reportedly had an opening bid turned down for Frenchman Nabil Fekir by Real Betis. AS report Mikel Arteta’s side have launched a bid for the 27-year-old but the offer is ‘far from the amounts’ the Spanish club believe the player is worth. Fekir was previously heavily linked to Arsenal and then Liverpool during his Lyon spell before making a surprise move to Betis, but the Gunners are said to be interested once more. As an integral part of Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis side, the manager is reluctant to let the playmaker join the North Londoners but may be forced into selling should they ramp up their efforts.
