7 reasons Arsenal are true 'banter club' of Premier League after Chelsea defeat

If Arsenal's pre-season friendly defeat to Chelsea on Sunday taught us anything, it's that the club's banter era is still alive and well. The Gunners went down 2-1 at the Emirates as goals from Kai Havertz and Tammy Abraham handed Thomas Tuchel's side the win. Granit Xhaka did equalise for the hosts midway through second-half, but it wasn't enough to thwart a second pre-season loss. Even without Sunday's defeat, it has been a busy few weeks for the north Londoners, who will be the subject of a new Amazon documentary based around the club's 2021-22 season.
