Arsenal facing Odegaard contract clause if they want Real Madrid to do business

Real Madrid are insisting on the inclusion of a buyback clause in any potential permanent transfer deal for Martin Odegaard this summer. The Norway midfielder is wanted by Arsenal this summer after impressing on a short term loan last season and is able to leave the Santiago Bernabeu for the right price. Whilst new manager Carlo Ancelotti cannot guarantee the 22-year-old first team football this season, he does have a place for Odegaard in his long term plans. As a result, Los Blancos want a clause inserted in any deal that would allow them to re-sign him for a set fee in the future.
