Arsenal's academy graduate: I was nowhere near ready

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has this week been reflecting on his pre-season experiences and revealed that he was eager to play in the first team at a very young age, he told Arsenal Player. Wilshere was part of the first team squad at the age of 16 and grew frustrated that he wasn't being picked to play alongside the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie, something which he finds quite amusing when looking back.
