Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Southampton rebuffed a bid from Manchester United for Morgan Schneiderlin and that no other clubs have lodged offers in the two weeks since. The 25-year-old defensive midfielder has been tipped to leave St Mary's this summer with Arsenal one of a number of other clubs thought to be keeping tabs on his situation. Schneiderlin was heavily linked with the Gunners back in January but has seemingly been downgraded as a priority signing in light of Francis Coquelin's unexpected (but very welcome) rise to prominence.
