Wojciech Szczesny is close to securing a loan move to Serie A side Roma, but reports suggest the Pole's transfer could become permanent next season, according to the Mirror. The shot-stopper dropped down the pecking order following the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea, and is consequently being farmed out on loan for a season to secure regular first team football. The Mirror's report claims Roma have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season however, with a £5m transfer fee included in the loan agreement.
