Szczesny's Roma move set to be made permanent

Wojciech Szczesny is close to securing a loan move to Serie A side Roma, but reports suggest the Pole's transfer could become permanent next season, according to the Mirror. The shot-stopper dropped down the pecking order following the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea, and is consequently being farmed out on loan for a season to secure regular first team football. The Mirror's report claims Roma have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season however, with a £5m transfer fee included in the loan agreement. The report claims Roma have paid £250,000 for the season long loan, but we could lose the 25-year-old for good come the end of the campaign. This seems strange...
