Manchester United star: I rejected ‘incredible' Arsenal deal in 2006

Manchester United's utility man Daley Blind has revealed that he spent a day at London Colney at the age of 16, before rejecting an offer from us to remain at Ajax, the Mirror reports. Blind joined the Red Devils last summer, but claims that we tabled a financially handsome offer which he later refused, despite stating that it would have been a dream to represent us. At the age of 16, it would've been interesting to see which position Arsene Wenger saw Blind blossoming in, given that he's currently used at centre-back, left-back, and in a defensive midfield role by Louis van Gaal.
