The traditional curtain raiser for the forthcoming season is upon us already as Chelsea take on Arsenal in the Community Shield on Sunday. Jose Mourinho will be able to call upon Diego Costa and Gary Cahill despite worries about their fitness after the pair picked up niggles on the pre-season tour of the United States. New signing Asmir Begovic is unlikely to make his competitive debut with Thibaut Courtois facing off against the Gunners’ strikeforce instead. Willian and Oscar will also be available after their exploits in the Copa America for Brazil this summer. Mourinho consequently has a full squad to choose from as he goes head-to-head once again with Arsene Wenger.
