Team News: Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech starts against Chelsea

Having spent the last 11 years of his career as a Chelsea player, Petr Cech has been handed his competitive Arsenal debut against the West Londoners in this afternoon's Community Shield at Wembley. The £10m man will feature behind a four-man defence that has seen youngster Hector Bellerin preferred to Mathieu Debuchy at right-back. Meanwhile, further forward, Theo Walcott has been selected as a lone striker ahead of Olivier Giroud, but there is no Jack Wilshere, who is believed to have picked up a knock. As for Chelsea, manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that a hamstring complaint has ruled out last season's leading goalscorer Diego Costa, which has handed a starting opportunity up front...
