Arsenal close in on £21.4m defensive midfielder as Wenger's penny pinching pays off

We have been heavily linked with a move for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak recently, and now is the perfect time to make a move for the Polish international, according to the Metro. Arsene Wenger is apparently keen on the defensive midfielder, but the report claims he has been turned off by the hefty transfer fee demanded in the past. However, with the tough tackling star's 30m buy-out clause (via the Metro) still standing, while the value of the Euro has plummeted, Krychowiak is now seen as an affordable option. Krychowiak only moved to La Liga from Reims last year, but was almost immediately tipped to make a switch to the Emirates following a number of excellent performances...
