Serie A club's chief reveals that talks with Arsenal for striker have stalled

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that negotiations with our hierarchy regarding Joel Campbell have ended abruptly after we refused to waver from our demands for the forward, talkSPORT reports. Campbell is yet to be involved this season after returning late from the Gold Cup with Costa Rica and having spent the back-end of last season on loan at Villarreal, it seems as though his future may lie elsewhere. However, given that Arsene Wenger extended his contract before he departed for Spain in January, the club could be looking to move him on at a premium.
