Arsenal ready late move for £55m goal-machine as Arsene Wenger prepares to ‘gamble' with transfer fund kitty

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to make a late transfer window move for PSG forward Edinson Cavani, according to The Sun. The 28-year-old, who moved from Napoli to the Parc des Princes in a £55.6m deal two years ago (via The Guardian), has produced the goods at PSG and has managed to net regularly despite being primarily used in a wide-attacking role that doesn't necessarily make the best use of his obvious talents.
