Arsene Wenger: Arsenal manager reveals Gunners working ‘day and night' on ‘specific' transfer targets

Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal manager, was asked in his press-conference ahead of the Gunners' clash against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon over any possible last minute signings, and suggests there could be late arrivals at the Emirates. The summer window slams shut on Tuesday September 1, and other than Petr Cech, Arsenal have not significantly strengthened their side since the end of last season.
