Arsenal ace apologetic after his performance at St James' Park

Arsenal star Theo Walcott seemed apologetic following our 1-0 win against Newcastle United and admitted that he missed some gilt-edged chances which he should have converted, he told Arsenal Player. Walcott was given his chance to shine through the middle as Arsene Wenger dropped Olivier Giroud to the bench, but the England man missed a few clear opportunities in the first half. As Newcastle United played the majority of the game with 10 men, space in behind their defence was limited which eventually removed the one threat Walcott poses when playing in that role.
