Arsenal transfer news: Gunners tipped to seal late striker deal

Arsenal look set to offload unwanted forward Joel Campbell at the end of the summer transfer window, with Turkish source Vatan claiming Galatasaray will bid for his services. The Costa Rica international has been unable to break into the first-team setup during his time with the Gunners, going out on loan on four occasions in a bid to both gain experience and acquire a work permit earlier on in his career. Still, Campbell has not progressed as hoped at the Emirates Stadium, and endured a frustrating time last term as he struggled even to make the bench on a regular basis before joining Villarreal on loan for the second half of the campaign.
