Another transfer deadline day is over and although there wasn't really an extremely late scramble from any club in particular, it was still an actioned packed day of surprises, ridiculous transfer fees and your usual inactivity from Arsenal. Overall we saw 16 deals involving Premier League clubs today, with a total of roughly £80million, which took the summer's Premier League spending to a record £862m. Some clubs did better than others over the course of the day, while some lucky clubs were able to sit back and enjoy the action after doing all their business well before the deadline....
