Arsenal legend calls for ‘stingy' Wenger to splash the cash

Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit believes that Arsene Wenger has damaged his image as a manager, according to SportsMole. In an interview, Petit expressed his opinion that Wenger's inability to win a title over the past decade has hurt the veteran French manager and has led to sides being much less intimidated by Arsenal (via SportsMole). With the United game coming up, Petit urged the team to produce a strong performance and send a message to the rest of the League.
