Ligament injury could force Arsenal's Francis Coquelin out until the new year

Arsenal have raised concerns that they could be without influential midfielder Francis Coquelin for the rest of 2015, due to a knee injury he sustained during Saturday's shock 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion, the Daily Mail reports. The Mail claims that the Frenchman went for scans to assess the extent of the injury, with the results coming back to show that he has suffered ligament damage. However, the Arsenal medical staff are waiting for the swelling around the knee to go down before conducting any further tests (via Mail) and they will be hoping that the problem is not as bad as initially feared.
