No striker signing, but at least we haven't signed a QPR reject like Chelsea

Although it's not necessarily a widespread view, certain sections of the Arsenal fanbase are questioning our lack of transfer activity when Chelsea look set to sign a new striker in Alexandre Pato (via the Express). Pato may well prove the majority of us wrong and impress for the Blues, but at the moment, it's hard to see what all the fuss is about. This is an injury prone player who struggled badly for form away from Brazil, and a player who was turned down by Harry Redknapp at Queens Park Rangers. Redknapp has urged Chelsea not to get too excited about the signing of the Brazilian, and believes he has no place at Stamford Bridge. 'If I was a Chelsea fan, I wouldn't be getting too excited...
