Southampton Keen On Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

It has been reported that Southampton are making a loan bid for Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The Sun says Saints boss Ronald Koeman is interested in bringing back the Ox to the South Coast where he made his debut at 16. The Ox left Southampton for Arsenal in a £12m switch in 2011 after coming through their academy. He has made 144 appearances and scored 13 goals for the Gunners. Oxlade-Chamberlain — who has been capped by England 24 times — is a long-term target of Chelsea who see him as a potential replacement for Eden Hazard who could be on his way in the summer to Real Madrid or Paris St Germain.
