Arsenal and Tottenham target reluctant to extend St. Mary's contract

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been boosted in the race to sign Southampton star Victor Wanyama, according to reports from the Express. The Gunners and Spurs were heavily linked with a move for Wanyama in the January transfer window, but the Saints fended off any interest by insisting that the Kenya international will stay at least until the summer. This saw Arsenal sign Mohamed Elneny from Basel as an alternative, but it is expected that Arsene Wenger will come knocking once again at the end of the season.
