Arsenal's 45m first refusal agreement revealed

We've long been linked with a move for Real Madrid's versatile midfielder Isco, and have now apparently agreed a deal (of sorts) for the Spaniard, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli (via the Express). The report suggests we've arranged a 45m first refusal deal with Madrid, and provided nobody gazumps us before this summer we have permission to discuss terms with the former Malaga man. This seems like a bit of a strange one, as neither us nor Real Madrid really have anything to gain from it. They aren't being forced to sell Isco and we aren't being forced to buy, so what is the point in agreeing the deal? If we want to sign him next summer then we can, if Real Madrid...
