GETTY WANTED: Arsenal are keen on Mehdi Benatia Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is eager to strengthen his options at the back ahead of next season. Per Mertesacker is likely to leave The Emirates in the summer and Gabriel is yet to fully convince the Wenger. The French manager has now turned to Benatia again, Starsport can reveal. Wenger missed out on the 29-year-old two years ago and is keen on him again. But Arsenal will need Bayern to land Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels first and then hope they will consider letting Benatia go. The 31-time capped Morocco international has only featured in 20 games for Bayern this season.
