Arsenal striker approaching unwanted record currently held by one of Arsene Wenger’s biggest flops

Olivier Giroud could be about to enter the Arsenal record books for entirely the wrong reason. Following his blank in yesterday’s 1-0 win over Norwich City, in which he assisted Danny Welbeck for the only goal, the French striker has now gone 15 Premier League games without finding the net. That makes him the joint-worst forward in the division on current form, with Swansea City’s Bafetimbi Gomis suffering from an equally barren run. And the stats do not get any prettier for Giroud.
